My all time favourite foundation has to be the NARS all day luminous weightless foundation. You’ve probably all heard of the sheer glow foundation by NARS because loads of bloggers and Youtubers talk about it. But this one is the newest edition to the NARS foundation collection.
Now I’m not going to lie, I initially went to buy sheer glow because of all the fabulous reviews. But the lady who was working there introduced me to this one. I’m not normally fooled by the sales assistants because I always know they have targets to reach and have to sell certain products, but when she tried this foundation on me I actually really liked it.
The consistency is so thin, when you put it on your skin it’s really light but has a high coverage. I always try stay away from thick foundation because I think once you’ve put your bronzer and powder on top, you literally feel like you’re caked in it (I hate that feeling). So I’m always on the look out for a light foundation but one that still covers my face and lasts a long time. This one does all of that.
I feel like this is my signature foundation. The one I’ll always fall back on. We all have one! (It’s just a shame mine is so expensive!)
It comes in at £32.00. I have it in the shade ‘PUNJAB – Medium 1’ which is the perfect match for my skin tone.
I was never a big fan of hand creams before this one, as I never really thought they’d benefit me. I don’t have particularly dry or oily hands and they’ve never bothered me before.
It wasn’t until last winter when I started noticing a difference in the texture of my hands. They were starting to go slightly dry in the palm of my hand, and because I use my hands so much, I noticed pretty much straight away! It was one of the most unusual feelings as the skin on my hands had never even crossed my mind before this.
I headed straight out and bought a hand cream! It was a brand-own one and claimed to ‘hydrate and moisturises the skin. I used this for about a month and I noticed no difference. When I first put it on, they felt nice and moisturised and this initial feeling obviously fooled me into thinking it worked! However, after the month of testing, I realised it wasn’t worth buying again. After this, I gave up on hand cream (yes, I am quite impatient) and spring began to arrive and I forgot all about hand creams.
It wasn’t until Chloe bought me this Molton Brown Delicious Rhubarb & Rose hand cream this summer, that I fell in love with hand cream. This one product alone has transformed me!
I can safely say I have never smelt anything quite like this hand cream. It smells similar to those rhubarb and custard sweets you get from those old sweet shops. (If anyone knows what I’m talking about please comment below so I know I’m not the only one who loves those sweets!) The smell is strong but not too overpowering so perfect for hands.
The product truly does do what it says on the packet – moisturises and keeps the hands healthy. I use it every night before bed to leave my hands to feel the full benefit of the product overnight. I love putting product on before bed because I can always tell how good it is if it’s still on in the morning… and this one definitely delivers!
It comes in a range of scents that can all be found on the website (linked below).

The hand cream is £10.00 from Molton Brown and can be found in stores and online.
If you do get chance to grab some of this, please let me know what you think! I hope you love it as much as I do!
(I would also just like to make you all aware that Chloe did buy me this for my birthday, she doesn’t just surprise me with Molton Brown gifts. Although I wish she did…hint hint Chloe!)
Still being a student is hard and money is very limited. But when I am able to gather a nice amount together I will definitely head towards the beauty stands at the department stores. Over the past years I have found some products that I will always continue to purchase and would find it very difficult to live without.
Firstly, the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Nectar. This has got to be the best multi purpose product ever. I use this mostly for my highlight towards the tops of my cheeks, however I love to use it for a blush as well and even an eye shadow! It is always a beautiful looking product in its packaging, mine smashed in my suitcase :(.
Available at Bobbi Brown at Debenhams.com
One thing I will always splash out on are lipsticks. I get super dry lips so i usually go to high end lipsticks as they don’t usually dry my lips out. I could show you loads of my lipsticks but you’d be reading for a while so I have picked my 2 favourite lipsticks for a bold lip.

Now, it’s hard to talk about this next product because I have loved it forever . No, it doesn’t look like much but believe me it is insane! YSL’s Touche Eclat Radiant Touch Pen, much like a concealer but instead of just hiding dark areas it brightens up the skin. For those who are afraid of glitter highlights this would be a great way to get a highlight without it.

If you don’t want the fuss of a skin care routine but still want to remove your make-up fully from your pores then I couldn’t recommend Clinique’s Take the Day Off Balm. This cleanser is amazing for all skin types and literally does what it says on the tub! It’s perfume less and so easy to apply, making it a must have every day to me.

Hope you have enjoyed having a look into my high end must haves.
